One photo is the wreckage of a plane that was delivering the AMOROC news announcing that peace had been signed. Location was Montabaur, Germany According to the soldier, the pilot later died. The other two cards are in the Durnbach Cemetery with major Gen McGlachlin, who held many posts but at the time of the photo it appears he was the 1st Division Commander of American Forces in Germany during the post war. Size of cards: 5 1/2" x 3 1/4" Condition: Items are discolored due to age. Has wear around the edges. Has that "I am old and have been in storage" aroma. No mildew. See all pictures.
