WW2 Era 950 Sterling + Silver Japan Made Flip Lighter Zippo Insert

Description: For auction is a vintage original WW2 era Japanese made solid 950 silver case three barrel lighter with a Zippo insert. This case IS NOT A ZIPPO PRODUCT, it was made in Japan to fit a Zippo insert. Typical American silver standard is Sterling 925 which means it’s 92.5% pure silver. One of Japans standards is 950 which means this case is 95% pure silver. I’ve personally used this lighter for a lot of years and it’s never let me down. Despite all of the imperfections I’ve photographed and gonna explain, it still opens and closes very well with a good “click”. Imperfections include but is not limited to lid overbite which doesn’t effect it’s operation, ding on the left side lid, it also has a good size dent on the other side, it has corner dings on top and bottom. The last several photos gives fair up close examples of imperfections as well as length and weight. Despite all said it’s still a very good old used lighter with plenty of life left in it.
