Description: Original WW2 (1942) RAF "WAR" Map - HAS NEVER BEEN FOLDED - PERFECT FOR FRAMING Features a number of named RAF bases etc. One of a very small batch of WW2 maps I have recently acquired which have never been folded and were stored rolled since the War. As a result, there are no fraying fold lines or holes across the map's detail. A couple of them have some light marks and insignificant margin creases, but their original colouring and condition is about as good as it gets for 80 year old military maps. As such, they are perfect for framing. Needless to say, in order to preserve their condition, I will be shipping the maps rolled inside a stout cardboard tube. This increases the overall postage and packaging cost to £6.75 for UK parcels. (Several maps should be able to travel together for the same postage price). I also have other versions of this map available which have been folded. Their condition is reflected by lower prices and reduced postal costs as they do not require cardboard tubes for shipping. For absolute clarity, this listing is for the single map shown in the photos. The others mentioned in this listing are available in separate listings.
