This assembly is based on Eric's original Fender specs, utilizing tone controls for only the bridge and neck positions, and sporting a big, sexy .1uf NOS ceramic capacitor. Eric believes that having no load on the middle pickup makes it more usable, and the 300k volume pot drives the pickups a bit hotter which really make them sing. This assembly, tamed with the NOS high value capacitor works well with fuzzes, and makes a very versatile strat.
