In the days before there were postcards, Tauchnitz, a reprint house, created editions like this one targeting English-speaking tourists with money, offering photos of tourist attractions bound into classy volumes of the works of well-known authors. The present book is all that, at a pocket size convenient to the traveler. Not in BAL. Condition of this book Bright and clean. Vellum has some small discolorations but overall remains attractive, photos sharp but show minor silvering, especially at the edges.
