Description: I've read quite a few blogs on these and there seems to be some differences in opinions on what they were actually used for; ice or wood? I believe these are cast iron. They are stamped with "1 steel" on the upper part of shaft. They measures 18 1/4" from the top of the handle to the longest end of hook. When closed, the expansion is 8 1/2" from inside to inside.Hooks are 2" deep. Handle loops are approximately 4 1/2" x 3 1/2" outside to outside Weighs approximately 4 lbs.ANY REASONABLE OFFERS WILL BE CONSIDERED!
