Description: Very Good Condition for Age. I am unsure what they used this for back in the day, but just recently saw one being used to dig holes for fall flower bulb planting. This unique LONG shafted (45") drill appears to be hand forged. The wood handle is approximately 10" long, in very good condition but was clearly hand whittled (doesn't fit as tight as it should) The bit / drill end is 2". Also worth noting, although I do not have a clear picture of this, the original (lower part) is marked "8" on the steel. There is some minor surface rust. Weighs approximately 4.4 pounds ANY REASONABLE OFFERS WILL BE CONSIDERED! The items I find are farm auctions, household auctions, etc. I will give you a description, to the best of my knowledge, regarding age and information found on those unique pieces. All sales are final, so I ask that you zoom over the pictures for a close view of them since I do NOT accept returns. If have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me. If, after you receive item, it does not meet your expectations, please contact me. Also worth mentioning, since many of my items are big and bulky, I do recycle cardboard. My shipping is based on ebay's estimator calculator.
