Description: Waterbury Clock Company 8 day Striking Ship's bell Clock c. 1910 Original AS IS - This clock is in excellent cosmetic condition and displays beautifully but is not presently running- The original brass case is shiny and in excellent condition with some light age related wear and patina- The original porcelain dial is in excellent condition with a few small chips at the edges (see photos)- It features an 8-day brass movement which is original to the clock- Both main springs are good and wind up, but the clock does not run or tick- The chime does sound but may need adjustment to get it in proper sequence- The clock is being sold strictly as is and is in need of repair- It comes mounted to a very nice wooden plaque- The case measures about 6" diameter and 4" deep and the dial is about 4-1/4" in diameter- The wooden plaque that it is mounted to measures about 9-1/8" diameter This antique Waterbury Clock Co. Ship Bell clock is in beautiful condition and comes mounted to wooden plaque which complements the clock very well. Unfortunately the clock is not in running condition and will require a repair.
