Vtg. Mid-Century Modern Atomic Brass Eyeball Orb Arc Floor Lamp Cast Iron Base

Description: For your consideration is this Wonderful Vintage Mid-Century Modern Atomic Brass Eyeball Orb Arc Floor Lamp. Relax in a chair and Enjoy a Book under this mid-century Arc Floor Lamp! This lamp has an polished brass atomic space eyeball orb style shade with a long arched arm stem and a solid cast iron base. The arm arch consists of two 30 inch sections that come apart for ease of transport and will come shipped that way (see photos). It has a total lamp height use of approximately 55" from floor to the top of orb switch (arch not included, see photo). The base (10" by 7") is a heavy solid cast iron that balances the arm arch with some swivel allowance and a screw hole to lock in the position of the arm. The orb shade is approximately 6.5" across and has a vertical swivel head. It has a one-way power switch on the top back of the orb with a long electrical cord that feeds down inside the stem. Note: the bulb is not included to avoid shipping breakage potential. No identification or maker labels found. This lamp is in good overall working condition. The brass orb has some minor surface rust patches and scratches, with no dents found. I believe a good polishing could restore its full shine if so desired. The white paint on the inside of the orb shade is flaking off (easily repainted if desired). The bulb socket and wiring seems to be in good working order. A great looking piece (with patina) as is or with a little TLC could have it looking new in no time! A great mid-century lamp with versatility to complement any modern room decor!
