Description: Vintage Genuine Alabaster & Brass Semi Flush Ceiling Light Fixture Art Deco. I am 99% sure this is alabaster, according to my research please look at all photos to decide for yourself, it is definitely not glass. The alabaster dome by itself weighs 5.2 lbs. and is 13" in diameter. The inside edge of light has some chips on the inside rim, one spot shows a tiny chip when it's inserted in the light base, see last picture. Also, I noticed a scratch and the top metal decoration left scratches from use, see pictures. The base is mostly brass and painted a brass/gold color, it does have some blemishes and or discolored, some light scratches on it see photos. The light works fine and has the dark spots in it when it is on not sure what this is, they are the heavier white spots you see on the underside of dome, might be normal I do not know. Fixture hangs down about 13" form ceiling. Shade is about 7/16" thick on edges as seen in photos. It is a beautiful light and in very nice condition for age.
