The marble is approximately 1 inch in diameter, but as it is not perfectly round, other measurements would be possible ... that's why we are approximating. It was found in a box in our 1836 western NY Barn with assorted other items including two more marbles, some old medicine bottles, etc. I see very often marbles begin listing at $9.99 or even $0.99 and the price keeps going up and up. In principle, that's a good idea... But risky.... Based on recent information from a collector, I am dropping the price. We appreciate any input. This Blue marble does have some unusual and interesting features; hopefully, my opening price is not too high....
