Description: For sale is an original Hagstrom electric guitar. Serial number: 675148 (see below for decoding information Date: 1966 Production number: 148 out of 1001 built in that year. Total 3000 units of Hagstrom III were made. Made in Sweden Regarding decoding serial numbers: The first 3 digits of the serial number indicate the manufacturing Production Run number. The remainder of the number is the sequence number for that unit (guitar or bass) within the production run. The format is PPPNNNN where PPP is the production run number and NNN or NNNN is the sequence number within that production run. Background information: Hagstrom is known for keeping track of their production runs. When buying a Hagstrom, be sure to check serial number and production information to make sure the product is legit Hagström I, II and III, 1964–1976 – Gibson SG-inspired body with a Fender-style headstock. Hagström IIand III were sold in America as the F-200 and F-300. The electric guitar seems complete in terms of hardware. High E string is broken. The guitar was a player, with some scratches and nicks shown throughout the body but still in very good condition considering it’s almost 60 years old. Neck is straight. No splits or cracks when I inspected the guitar and no missing parts. I did plug it into an amp to check briefly and everything works as it should. It is still recommended to go through and perhaps clean before use. Listing also comes with what seems to be original hard case and two Fender picks. The original case could use some repair on the hinges but in general good shape. Please look at pictures carefully. What you see is what you get. Item is sold as is, no returns.
