Description: VINTAGE 1950s - 1960s BIEN DAVIS LEATHER HANDBAG / SHOULDER BAGUp for auction is this spectacular vintage 1950s - 1960s leather handbag / shoulder bag from Bien Davis. Just look at the pictures and see how beautiful this bag is. This bag is made of a soft supple leather with a light rust tan color. This leather has a very soft feel. . . almost like suede but it is not suede. This is a natural leather with some natural markings or lines through it that simply add character and uniqueness to this bag. This bag has 2 decorative leather straps on the front with shiny golden brass buckles. There is a decorative shiny brass tilt clasp closure on the top. The golden chain strap or handle is not terribly heavy so it is easy to deal with. This chain strap may or may not be original to this bag. The inside has a large center storage area. On each side of the center area are to large full length pockets. One wall has a zipper top pocket and one wall has an open top pocket. This bag comes with a nice coin purse that it attached with a tether cord as well as a mirror. The mirror is in the original paper envelope but has some discoloration as can be expected from decades of storage. Some of the outside edges have some darkening but as you can see in the pictures it is minor and just adds some character to this gorgeous vintage bag!!!
