Description: Before electric lamps were invented in the early 1900s, miners would use kerosene lamps like this one as a light source down in the mines. This of course was fairly dangerous, as any open flame had the possibility of igniting gases released in the mining process. This lamp in particular seems to be fairly rare, selling for $100+ elsewhere, so this price is a steal. Measures about 7” tall and is missing the hook on top for carrying.
