Description: 1920s Syracuse Ornamental Company Syroco Wood "Ye Print Shop" 7"h bookends, each shaped like an Old English book press. These were made by compressing wood pulp and binders into a carved wooden mold, creating a hand carved appearance at a fraction of the cost. Very good condition - nice patina, unscuffed - cleaned, polished and ready to use.
