This item measures approx. 1" wide by 1 3/4" high. This item is vintage and has a lot of age and wear including discoloration, fading,ground-in dirt and some of the letters on the paper are difficult to read. First and 2nd class relics are rare, are considered sacred, and are usually found in churches. First class relics are actually from the body of the saint like a strand of hair.Second class relics are something the saint owned like a Bible or a piece of clothing. 3rd class are just "touch" relics. They are pieces of cloth that have been touched to a1st or 2nd class relic and then cut up into tiny pieces and put into medals, holders, etc... It may have been a piece of cloth that was touched to the saint, touched their tomb, or touched to anything they owned or wore. I only sell 3rd class relics which I have bought over the years at various sales, and for themost part, I have no history of the items.
