Description: Vintage LIBBEY Pilsner & Wine Glasses-Horseless Carriage Design - Set of 7 Beautiful mixed set of 1950 Libbey Glass Horseless Carriage Series Set. This set of 7 includes 3 Pilsner glasses with the Buick Model "C" 1905 design and 4 wine glasses with the Chevrolet 1913 design. These glasses was introduced in 1950 as part of Libbey's Hostess series sets and was designed by Freda Diamond. They were touted as " These Party-Spirited glasses designed by Freda Diamond are decorative! Witty! Smart! Authentic reproductions of charming old gas buggies. The rims were guaranteed not to break. The 4 Wine glasses are 5" tall and hold 5 ounces. The 3 Pilsner glasses are 8 1/2" tall and hold 12 ounces. This set is in great used condition. The designs on the glasses are bright and vibrant with no fading. There are no chips or cracks in the glasses. There is a very minor scratch on one of the wine glasses (See picture 6) and a little wear on one lip of a pilsner glass. (See picture 8). Please note the advertisement flyer in picture 12 is for reference only and not included in this sale. Vintage and antique items have been loved and used by the previous owner so please expect for there to be some imperfections. If there are any major imperfections such as age cracks, rust, chips, etc I will do my best to list them. I will combine shipping if you buy multiple items when I can.
