Has a few slight teeny surface scratches and a scuff from another surface shows 2 very slight scuffs on one side(shown clear in pics) all are teeny tiny and ever so slight. In wonderful shape showing normal use. These slight marks would be gone with one rub with clear old English . I will leave in condition I found it in & leave that up to you the expert. Has original lane tag on bottom & has Preuss Furn. Co. Detroit stamped on underside of lid, just under the official LANE Cedar Chests Altavista, Va. Makers mark. Great quality jewelry box still smells so strong of cedar wood. A beautiful treasure box. Measures; 9” x 4 3/8” x 4” tall
