Description: This unit has a good amount of wear. Chipped veneer and a rust spot on top of metal casing. NOW THE GOOD PART...Ran at clipping for 30 minutes drove my 4 ohm speaker really well. Also used as TV amp for three days. Ran my rebuilt Cerwin Vega DX-9 (15” woofers) very well. Tested all inputs and are all working fine.....Controls should be cleaned at one point...AM/FM works great-FM picked up 25 stations really well-FM muting may not be working or is not working properly, but does not affect reception..FM muting knob broken, will include replacement switch with unit. Will also have it replaced by my technician for an additional fee. Very nice comfortable clean sound. It was very enjoyable to have it hooked up....I made sure all of the dust in the unit was removed before testing. Used keyboard aerosol to remove dust to prevent the unit from shorting out during my test. If you are looking for that classic sound with a bit of good sounding power, this is the one at a budget price. DO NOT PASS THIS ONE UP....Ignore the condition and just plug it in and enjoy...GREAT SOUND for a small budget... Note: I always recommend any classic audio be serviced to ensure long term performance. NO Returns on audio equipment or parts. Thanks for looking,Gary... sansuioldaudiophile Note: all audio this age should be taken to a qualified technician and inspected at one point to ensure more years of service.
