VINTAGE HUGE BRASS HOURGLASS SAND TIMER HOUR GLASS 23" TALL

Description: Estate Vintage Mid Century Brass & Glass Hourglass Sand timer that is an Large size measuring approx. 23 1/4" tall 8" in diameter. It does work & when turned over is approx. 50 minutes when all the sand drops. The previous owner put CD's on the base of each side of the glass not sure why. The ball feet on each end unscrew to clean the glass as well as polish the brass and CD's can be removed. I injured my thumb and can't use it otherwise I would have removed them. The glass has no cracks or chips could use a cleaning on the interior. The brass is shiny with a few tiny spots of tarnish that should lift when polished. Impressive decorator piece as well as a timer. Fun piece to use when your children need quite time or a time out.
