Description: Nice set of five hand painted wood Santa nesting dolls in the Russian style. In this set, the Santas all have one arm behind their backs. 4 are hiding a present, but the smallest has nothing in his hand that is behind his back. All are in excellent used condition. No damage or missing paint that I could find. Some areas where the paint is just blotchy are not damage. Also, a short crack in the top rear edge of the top of the largest Santa is not damage. It's just part of a knot in the wood (see top edge of photo of the nested tops). The tallest Santa is 5-1/2" in height and the smallest Santa is 1-3/4" in height. Thanks for your interest.
