Description: Diamondback Tactical Vintage GWOT dump pouch, Desert Tan, level IIIa soft armor layer closest to body. This vintage Global War on Terror (GWOT) dump pouch was originallydesigned for carrying expended magazines and 40mm tear gas rounds, but you'll quickly find many handy uses for it while camping or biking. It's in excellent condition, with a tiny 1" area of brown dots on the back face of the dump pouch where I experimented with magic marker to see how the (then) standard USMC Marpat pattern camouflage might look. The entire dump pouch is made from Desert Tan colored 1000 denier Cordura nylon, made to endure all the abuse you can give it. It has a velcro and dual snap top closure so that you can stick empty magazines into the dump pouch without opening the zippered top. The inside of the dump pouch is quite spacious, and the back wall of the pouch has sturdy elastic loops - originally for holding three 40mm teargas canisters, but great for carrying flashlights or camping/bicycling accessories. It also has 2 very strong zippers securing the top "lid" of the pouch, so that you can leave it partially open in order to carry tools, radios, or other items that you might want to have sticking out. On the top surface of the "lid", there is a velcro and snap flap, so that youcan put items in and pull items out, without unzipping the entire top lid ofthe pouch. This dump pouch attaches to your belt and your thigh with adjustable straps made from heavy duty Cordura nylon and high strength polymer buckles, and it's configured so that you can either carry it right on your belt or you can wear it in a drop leg configuration with the bag suspended from your belt with a strap and securely strapped to your thigh as well. The entire back of the dump pouch closest to your body has a layer oflevel IIIa kevlar soft armor, to protect you from any items in the bag which might become hazardous for some reason.
