Vintage French JAZ Art Deco Cubic Travel Alarm Clock in Stingray Skin Case c1928

Description: Superb little Travel Alarm Clock "Cubic" from the French Brand JAZ made around 1928 Beautiful Art Deco period manufacture in solid brass with gilt plating, some of the gilt has worn off. The CUBIC was one of the first models sold as "a luxury clock for ladies" with a little window to set the time for the alarm. In generally very good condition, the clock mechanism and the alarm both work well. Dimensions: max height 8 cm/width 5.8 cm/depth 4 cm/dial 5 x 5 cm. Some signs of use but still a very pretty little alarm clock in a stylish travel case. The travel case is covered in what appears to be Stingray Skin and is Silk Lined, it measures 9cm tall x 7.5cm wide x 7cm deep. There are some signs of wear but generally in very good condition.
