Description: Vintage French Cheese Porcelain Platter, Horse and Buggy, Orchies, Moulin des Loups This vintage French cheese platter has a brass handle in the center and three images of horse drawn coaches, all encircled by a gilded band. The indented outside edge is highlighted by gilding. It is stamped on the back with the marks of the famous Faïenceries d’Orchies Moulin des Loups, located in the north of France and whose beginnings go back to the 18th century. In very good condition, with the exception of normal signs of wear on the gilded parts, this platter will add a charming “French” touch to your decor or will be an excellent addition to your collection!
