Description: Vintage Fenwick Voyageur Combo Fly/Spin Fishing Rod SF 74-4 7’0” This is a vintage Fenwick Voyageur combo fly and spin fishing rod. Rod is five (5) pieces in design as the handle is reversible for either fly or spin fishing. Model # SF 74-4 the rod is 7’0” in length assembled. Serial # R175185 dates the rod to 1977-78. Rod weighs 4 3/4oz. and handles lure weights of 1/8 of 3/8 oz. The rod handles monofilament line weights of 2-6 lb. test. Recommended fly line weight is 5 or 6. Rod has a 13” reversible grip which includes a brown butt cap, 7 1/2” specie cork fore or rear grip, 4 1/2” double ring locking sliding hood bronze anodized aluminum fixed reel seat and a 1 1/2” fore/rear grip. Original hookeeper, six (6) foul proof stainless steel spinning guides and a Carboloy tip top. Rod sections pack in their original red cloth Fenwick rod bag inside of a 3 corner Fenwick heavy plastic rod tube. Top hinge is severed but cap still locks in place.
