Description: This set was acquired from a military veteran's estate. He thought he got it in Thailand in late 1950s or early 60s. Basically, it has been stored since that time. The pipe appears to have a clay bowl. Minor crack on rim (not deep). Rest of outer pipe is sterling silver. The box has a fine weave and has been lacquered to make it firm. Simple wood frame for scale and weights but does show some nice workmanship. The scale platforms appear to be brass. The scale weights appear to be bronze.
