Description: This vintage American Girl / Bend Knee Barbie doll features a unique sidepart hairstyle and is brunette in color. Whether you are a seasoned collector or just starting out, this Barbie is sure to catch your eye. I'm not sure if she is actually considered a Side Part Barbie or not, but her hair is parted slightly off to her left side. She also seems to have one more row of rooted hair in the back of her head than most of the American Girl Barbies do when they have the more common pageboy / Dutch girl hairstyles. Her hairstyle is very similar to some of the Bend Leg Midge dolls that I have seen. Her hair is mostly full, except for a tiny space on the bottom of her head where the rooting was missed at the factory. Her eyebrows are lighter color on the outside edges, otherwise her facial paint is in good condition. She has several earring holes but no green ears. No neck splits. Her body has light scratches all over. Her left leg is broken near the hip. Both legs have pin holes and tears near her ankles. Both knees click 3 times. I thought about switching her head to another body that had no damage, but I wanted to keep her in "as found" condition. I have many more Barbie and Family dolls in other auctions currently on eBay.
