This wonderfully detailed figurine is made of a marble resin composite and done by Amiloare Santini (Italian, 1910-1975). Santini based this piece on the marble sculpture, DAVID, by Gian Lorenzo Bernini. David has a stone in his sling as he prepares to conquer Goliath. Approximately 10” h x 4” sq. At base It is signed A. Santini ( see zoom in pics). An awesome piece to display!! General minor overall bumps and scratches to base, some marks. Please see and ask for more photos if needed. Displays really well!!
