Description: Vintage 1972 Erica Wilson Embroidered Horses: Framed Under Glass with Signature This vintage #7229 Erica Wilson crewel art pattern was by the Columbia Minerva Corp. Expertly stitched wild horses of grey, orange, mustard, black, brown, and white race against a rich tan fabric background, all protected and preserved under glass. Lovingly hand made and signed in stitches by the artist named Gina, this piece is in excellent vintage condition and was framed in Brooklyn, NY. It’s hand-labeled on the back as “November 1972”. This beautiful art weighs 6 pounds 10.5 ounces and measures 29 ¾” horizontally by 17 ¾” vertically and 1 ¼” from front to back. The medium toned wood frame is 1 ½” wide with gold band details within the frame. Everything about this artwork is lovely and well made. There are a few age-appropriate tears on the back of the piece in the mounting paper. This artwork is ready to hang with picture wire already in place.
