Copyright 1953, first printing. Super cute colored illustrations throughout. Will make a great addition to any vintage children's book or Christmas collection....and of course fun to read. Great book to hand down through the family as a holiday tradition. Hard cover edition with brightly colored covers; there are a few small dents on the back cover.The book is in excellent vintage condition. The covers are clean and intact with very minimal wear only. The covers are washable. There is no writing anywhere; no torn, loose or missing pages. There is one tiny tear at the bottom of the last page near the spine. Nothing much at all-wonderful condition for a child's book of this type and vintage!
