Description: Vintage Monterrey Western Ware Oval Serving Tray/Platter. Made in Mexico. Measures approximately 15 1/2" x 9 3/4". Item has probably been used and does show wear. There are various marks, nicks, chips, paint wear, paint imperfections, etc. here and there on the front, back and edges. Chips are on the back edge. It was hard to photograph well, but picture #8 shows "over paint"? Not sure what it's called but looks like there was some sort of imperfection in manufacturing and they went back and painted it again? This appears fairly common with these items. Please see pictures for details. All major issues have been pictured, but other more slight issues may not be shown in closeups. Item is generally clean, but as this is a used item, should not be considered pristine and new owner may wish to do further polishing. Please see pictures for details.
