Description: This is an interesting old lot of two necklaces that were probably made in the 1930's since they have an Art Deco look. The stamped brass pendant has a lovely pierced design and a prong set glass scarab in cornflower blue. It is a molded glass stone that is meant to simulate carving and both sides have a design. The blue is gorgeous and the stone is slightly translucent. The chain measures about 16 inches around and closes with a spring ring. The long beaded chain is a mystery but looks really old. It has a "flapper" era length of 50 inches around with no closure. The glass beads are obviously hand made and the metal dangles give the necklace a lot of movement. They remind me of Indian items with similar beads and tin cut outs. I thought the necklaces look nice together, so I'm selling they as a lot. Please do enlarge the photos to appreciate the details of these unusual items. THANKS !!
