Description: Model 427420. Note that I also have model 427400 for sale as well (unless someone has already purchased it). Very clean antique AEG toaster, made in Germany in the 1930s. Designed by renowned master of art deco styling, Peter Behrens. Behrens designed these for AEG from the 1930s to the 1950s. This belonged to the high end of the collection of AEG. When one side of the bread is toasted, opening the lid would turn the bread slice on its own. The lid could then be closed to toast it further. Works on 220V, 450 Watt, with mica plate inside with round LED working thread light. This particular example is in great shape for its age. It apparently had little, if any, use. Please note that I sell all toasters for display only. I do not have the original plug, which would not work in the U.S.
