US Army Europe White Back Patch WWII Vintage

Description: The Patch: This auction is for One Vintage Original U.S. Army Europe patch with a white back. This patch has been used and is in good condition. SHAEF is written on the back This one has a nice white backing. The History: The US Army Europe patch was worn by our occupation forces in Europe. It resembles the SHAEF Headquarters patch with the exception of the blue background instead of black. The flaming sword represents the liberators, the light blue represents peace and tranquility. The rainbow represents the nations of Europe and the colors are in the flags of those nations. This patch was approved on August 2, 1945. Please read my auction requirements.
