Description: An Answer To Sir Thomas More's Dialogue, The Supper Of The Lord After The True Meaning Of John VI and I Cor. XI. and WM. Tracy's Testament Expounded by William Tyndale, Martyr, 1536Edited for The Parker Society by the Rev. Henry WalterCambridge, The University Press, 1850Hardback, 340 pages, with the 9th Annual Report of The Parker Society for the year 1849 bound in.This is an ex-library book from Rawdon College. The title page has a library stamp in ink, but there appear to be no other library marks, or other inscriptions or annotations. The book has been rebound in a plain red library binding. The hinge at the half title page is cracked, with net exposed, and the facing endpapers are beginning to detach. Overall, however, the binding is very sound. The front endpapers and the first dozen pages have a crease, possibly from the rebinding. The cover boards do have some light wear, and there is some crushing to the spine. Please see the photographs to get a good idea of the overall condition and contents. A rather nice Victorian edition, that because of its rebinding will hold up for more years of reading and study.
