Description: FOR SALE, A TRIO OF OLD DATED 1960'S ERA & BELIEVE TOUGHER TOWN old DOG LICENSE / DOG TAX TAG / EXONUMIA which says "BANNING DOG TAX -- 1961, 1965, 1966 ETC", which was located in the scenic town of BANNING, CALIFORNIA this is for a group of 3 dog licenses from tougher Inland empire town of Banning...NOTE LOW NUMBERTHIS IS A TOUGH TOWN TO FIND EXONUMIA FROM......SCENIC BANNING IS LOCATED IN RIVERSIDE COUNTY CALIFORNIA NOT FAR FROM BEAUMONT AND CABAZON CATHIS IS A NICE LOOKING GROUP OF OLD DOG LICENSES, AND VERY COLLECTIBLE....THEY HAVE SOME GOOD AGE, AND MOST PEOPLE BACK IN THE DAY JUST DID NOT HAVE THE FORESIGHT TO SAVE THESE, OFTEN DESTROYED OR RECYCLED IN WARTIME METAL SCRAP DRIVES, ETCCAME OUT OF A COLLECTION OF WESTERN DOG LICENSES, WATCH FOR FUTURE LISTINGSLOVE THE DOG HEAD SHAPEThis is a neat old license.....I am not an expert on these...came out of a collection, original owner had a grouping of old dog licenses in the back of the notebook.....watch for future listingsDog licenses are aluminum metal, odd shaped, about quarter size, and they display nicely.
