This necklace features a large NATURAL and GENUINE polki cut diamond and ruby pendant that is exquisitely enameled in green, red, and white. Polki cut gemstones are one of the oldest forms of cut gems, originating in India long before Western cutting methods were seen there. They often retain their original rough form and have an unfaceted, polished surface. The appeal is that they generally are cut to follow the original rough stone so no two are alike and they impart a distinctiveness that makes each piece unique! The LARGE SIZE PENDANT is 51mm (2") long and 35mm (1 3/8") wide and with the double row ruby bead chain and the overall length is 18" and the necklace weighs a WHOPPING 76.5 GRAMS TOTAL! This necklace is new old stock no wear or damage to the pendant or ruby beads but the clasp (which is gold plated) does have some scuffs and blemishes from jostling around in one of our storage lockers for several years.
