Description: 34 pieces of Theodore Haviland Limoges France Porcelain made for import by J. Seth Hopkins, Baltimore. Schleiger 339 (Unsure of which letter) Multicolor roses and an embossed patterned edgeSet includes: 1 Platter (11.75" length), 1 oval serving dish (9" length), 8 plates (8"), 8 bowls (9.5"), 8 small plates (6-3/8") & 8 small bowls (5.5"), large tureen & Lid (Approx 13.5" length, no ladle present), platter/underplate 15", 2-8.5" vegetable servers with lids(without handles included in measurement), 10" oval serving bowl, lidded sugar bowl and creamer pitcher. All are marked on the back with maker and importer information. We believe this set dates to approximately 1903, though the oval serving dish does bear a mark that was used in 1895. Condition issues include Platter and oval dish, no damage. 8" Plates-1 has an rim chip on the bottom of rim). 9.5" Bowls-2 have small chips on the foot (possible manufacturing defect). Small plates- no damage. Small Bowls-1 bowl has a very small chip on the foot (less than 1/8") 10" serving bowl has a small chip on the rim. Sugar bowl has a manufacturing defect on the underside of the lid rim. One of the vegetable servers has some duckfoot crazing on the base (not a crack as it does not go through to the inside). 15" platter/underplate has a chip on the underside of the rim. This is the damage we could find. We may have possibly missed a small chip, as it is a very large set. Any damage is very small. Overall condition on this set is very good. If this set is picked up locally versus shipped, we will discount the set. This set will ship in multiple boxes due to the fragility and size of the set.
