Description: Up for sale is a nice early copy of The Marble Faun by Nathaniel Hawthorne. This is a nicely done two volume set published in 1892 by Houghton, Mifflin and Company. Two volumes in red and white boards with nice engravings. Books are in Good-/Fair+ condition with fairly heavy wear to the boards and spine. Browning to the pages which is light except at immediate front and back boards. There is fraying along the edges and some wear to pages with a couple small nicks and dings. generally a nice but not perfect copy of this great piece.
