Description: A hardcover copy of 'The Analects of Confucius' translated by Lionel Giles. This was published in 1970 by The Limited Editions Club and is numbered and signed by the illustrator, Tseng Tu-Ho. This particular copy is number 1,342 of 1,500 printed. This also comes with the original box/case. The box has a small stain spot on the front, and the upper corner has split. There is also general light wear from storage. The book, itself, is in excellent condition and does not appear to have ever been read. The only noticeable wear to the outside is some minor bending to some of the corners likely from bumping. Inside there is some faint ghosting from a previous price marking in the upper corner of the front free endpaper, but otherwise no writing or markings to any of the pages. There are also no folds to any of the pages. A copy with a little wear and damage to the box, but otherwise it's in great condition. Shipped via USPS Media Mail.
