Taylor Smith Taylor TS&T CANNES Atomic Onion 10 1/4” Dinner Plates Ironstone MCM

Description: This is the famous "onion" motif from Taylor Ironstone. They produced the atomic onion motif in several different colors so please be sure this is the one you are after! This is the "Cannes" pattern, featuring the onions looping around the outside of the plate. It is a dark version with the center of the plate being a mustardy yellow and the pattern around the edge with less contrast. There is some variation in shading between the plates so you can let me know details of your existing plate sets so I can send you the ones which will match the best. I have 9 of these. They are all in good condition--no cracks or chips, no obvious utensil marks. They have mold marks on the underside--areas where the color is missing under the glaze that were where the pieces were supported in the kiln. One has a slight color variation on the edge-and I will keep that one for last! It is not a significant flaw, but it is something the other ones do not have. Strangely there is some variation in plate size with some being closer to 10" than 10 1/4". They all stack perfectly together so it is not actually noticeable unless you are measuring them to list on eBay. Quantity discount if you buy more than one and only and only $1 additional in shipping per additional plate up to 4 plates. I will not ship more than 4 in one box (you could probably talk me into 5 unless traveling internationally.)
