Description: Older model Synology NAS, 2-bay SATA. Original specs were for 2x2TB drives, later OS updates can handle 2x4TB. Included are a pair of older 2TB drives configured as RAID mirror, wiped clean of previous data and OS reset to factory defaults. Unknown remaining life of these drives is a potential risk though RAID would allow you to easily replace them one at a time and salvage with no data loss. This model has been off support for some time, verified it has the last DSM OS version that was released. Original owner, was kept on UPS until retired due to upgrade. If you don't want the HDDs I will consider lower offers and it will be lighter for shipping.
