This is the first printing.The book is in excellent condition considering it is an ex-library copy! Internally the pages are clean and bright with white, crisp pages. With only two signs of its past. The remittance of an insert plus a sticker on the copyright page. Otherwise, it is clean and mark free, plus only has slight tanning to the text block edge.The covers are still a strong black, with no marks or bumps. The book is also still very square, tight and compact. The spine is also great retaining its black colour, but with again only some minor signs of shelf wear to the extremities. Overall appears to be read very carefully during its time.The dust jacket is the original first impression dust jacket published by Penguin at the same time. In great condition with the amazing Michael Gillette illustration still colourful and bright, with the only flaws being some small bumps and creases around the edges, but all are minor.Sent with Royal Mail 48.
