Description: Increase traffic to your listing with Auctiva's FREE Scrolling Gallery.WELCOME TO MY LISTING OF THIS,QUITE STUNNING ARTS & CRAFTS LIBERTY INSPIRED PLANNISHED SILVER CLOCK GARNITURE WITH 24 HOUR MOVEMENT BY RESPECTED SILVERSMITHS WHO ARE STEWART DAWSON & WILLIAM THOMAS PAVITT AND COMEFULLY HALLMARKED FOR LONDON 1926(Clock),BIRMINGHAM 1909(Vases).It appears to be in very good working order keeping very good time,either gaining or losing a little each day,but its nothing a clean and service won't sort out and is something we will always advise a customer of doing whether you have purchased the clock from us or not.This simply stunning clock is extremely unusual in its design having the beautifully plannished finish and design along with an initial on either side of the face and was more than likely a specially commissioned piece for some lucky person or couple.All three pieces show very light wear that you should reasonably expect to see on a pieces of their age and type and on inspection we could only find minor marks/denting right down low on the base to one vase and a couple to the bodies and finally one of the weights from a vase has gone,but it makes no difference to its stability at all and could always be reapplied should it bother you.This has obviously been a very well cared for and cherished clock throughout its lifetime given its overall condition.The clock stands,app 10 cm tall and has a maximum width of app 16 cm and a depth of 5 cm,the vases stand 16.5 cm in height.A super piece of design and history that would grace any collection.Being an antique timepiece we give no guarantee on the movement and will always advise on purchasing to have any timepiece serviced and regulated as we have already stated.
