Description: If you are into vocal jazz and are not familiar with the Singers Unlimited group, check them out. They are the premier jazz vocal group #1. They were formed by Gene Puerling (Hi-Lo’s fame) in the 70’s and recorded into the 80’s. Amazing harmonies, perfect pitch and so incredibly musical. The group is backed by a full orchestra conducted by Robert Farnon, which is a bit different from their other records. (The arrangements rely on strings, harp, flute, guitar. Don’t expect big band jazz on this one). The vinyl plays well, but there is some light background crackle here and there. None of this is loud or takes away from the play. There are no skips or other distractions. Overall this is VG+, but on the weaker side, but well above a VG rating. The cover is very clean with no marks. Seams are good. No splits. Very light ring wear can be seen and there is a cut bottom corner (see photo). Easily a VG+ rating. Shipping is $4.50.
