Singer Featherweight sewing machine model 221-with case and accessories-serviced

Description: This is a very clean Singer Feather weight. Fully serviced *(see below) and sewing like new. This machine does straight stitch with proportional reverse. It is producing a perfect stitch as you can see in the sample photo. The serial number: AH323949, puts its birthdate in 1947. The paint and decals are near perfect. The case is clean with no serious wear or damage. The latches and locks both work and a key is included. *The oil pad had been replaced, the incandescent light bulb changed to LED, the belt tension adjusted, the hand wheel removed and the shaft cleaned and polished, the top tension assembly removed, cleaned and zeroed out. The pressure bar was removed, cleaned and polished and the needle bar was cleaned in place and all lubrication points lubed. It has a new, electronic foot control. Accessory feet include binder foot, zipper foot, button hole foot, ruffler, and more, all in an original singer accessor box. Also included an an original owners manual, extra bobbins, original screw driver, original oval oil can (all metal) and a vintage tube of Sears grease. The motor was disassembled, armature cleaned and commutator polished after removal of residue carbon. The brushes were checked and have very little wear.
