Sig Sauer 226 HRV Grips® Hogue Legion Design Choice Medallions •All Wood Species

Description: Sig Sauer P226 HRV Grips® HOGUE® model with Decocker Grips with Legion Inspired design. These grips will fit all Legion models and all standard 226 models. Choose from Goncalo Alves (Zebrawood), Pau Ferro (Shown), Cocobolo, Rosewood, Burl Walnut, or Kingwood, Choose Original Sig Legion Medallions or Sig Medallions. Hogue P226 grips will fit 9mm, 357SIG, or .40 cal pistols. For optimum performance of an older SIG P226 with Hogue Grips it is recommended that the trigger return spring be replaced with the "new" style spring which is available from SIG.SIG redesigned the 226 frame in the mid 1990s and the new pistols come with a redesigned trigger return spring. SIG encourages the use of this new spring on older guns.Your new Hogue Grip is designed to work with both the old and new frame and spring styles, however, the new spring works better under certain conditions. For this reason it is recommended that you use the new style spring for duty use or any other use in which maximum reliability is necessary. HRV Customs Stock is Revision "E" which is the newest revision, allowing fitment to Stainless Elite and Legion Models Sig Sauer made a change to their P226 Elite Stainless frames at the bottom of the frame. The wood, aluminum and G10 grips can be modified if we do not have a current revision in stock. Please call Customer Service to order a grip indicating the revision needed. Revision D for our wood grips and Revision K for our aluminum and G10 grips and revision E for our rubber grips accommodate the SIG P226 Stainless Elite frames. You can see a picture of the new frame here. Updated 05/23/2018Grip screws should be torqued to 13-15 inch lbs. Blue loctite is suggested on the threads. A quality correct fitting 3/32" hex / Allen or slot driver is a must!
