Description: Vintage Shakespeare Sigma Pro 035 series 2300 high speed spinning reel made in Japan featuring a stainless steel ball bearing supported pinion gear, collapsible winding handle, push button spool release, rear drag adjuster, automatic bail release with a fold bail option and an all metal gear case to make it strong and durable. Very smooth on cast and retrieve, the bail snaps back after each cast and the drag function is very smooth with silent anti-reverse, the gear ratio is 5.2:1 for high speed retrieve. This is a high quality freshwater work horse a very solid reel that will not let you down. Exceptional mechanical condition, the gears and bearings show very little wear and everything works as it should, excellent exterior condition with very minor scuffs from normal use. Complete service was done, the gears were cleaned and re-greased, bearings were oiled, spool some new line and go fishing or put it in your collection it displays very well.
