Check out my other items!Be sure to add me to your favorites list!This listing is for a (Selmer USA) Bundy brand Bb soprano clarinet. This one is a relatively rare "Mazzeo" model. What makes this different than the standard Bundy clarinet is that this has a single 'plateau' (closed hole style) key. The key operated by the left hand thumb is a solid key with a pad, rather than a open ring. Some players have particular trouble covering that tone hole on a standard clarinet, so this makes it easier for them in that they only have to hit somewhere on the key to make the seal. There are also some additional fingering possibilities for the otherwise troublesome throat Bb note.This instrument is in overall very good condition. It does play throughout its entire range, but I think it could benefit from some minor adjustment. The pads, though not new, are in very good condition with plenty of life left in them. The tenon corks are also in good shape and there is no wobbling of the joint connections. Physically speaking, this instrument is in great shape. There is no damage to the plastic body. There are no chips to the tenons or tone holes. The keys are all operating smoothly, and they are still bright and shiny with minimal plating wear.There is no mouthpiece, ligature, or cap, nor any other accessories included. This clarinet comes in its original plastic shell case, which is also in very good condition. There are no cracks or other damage to the plastic shell.
