Description: This is a pair of brand new sealed with tax stamp double deck set of playing cards that feature EMD MOBILE POWER units. These date to around the mid-1950's when EMD was getting into this business. They were very successful. Not as well known by most railroaders, EMD had a huge presence in what is referred to as the "Power Products" market. They used the same locomotive engines on drill rigs, stationary power plants, back up generators for nuclear power plants, tug boats, etc. They launched their mobile power application sometime in the 1950's and these were a customer premium from that time period. These date to between 1954 and 1959 and were OEM factory issued by EMD. These are perfect examples of these playing cards. Not a lot of these were made and it's even rarer to find sealed examples.
